December 7, 2024. My last craft fair of my first year selling! I was set up amongst over 100 beautifully decorated trees in the historic Wright Museum of Wolfeboro, NH. The day was even more special because it was the 25th anniversary of the Festival of Trees.
The day got off to a slow start but then picked up quickly. I was so excited because I finally sold not only one, but two of my adult beanies! A wide variety of items sold which made me realize that you never know what will sell.
The customers at this event were especially generous with their compliments and admiration of my work. Two customers stood out to me the most. One was a woman who was eyeing the sole Kitty Doll. She walked away and almost immediately came back saying she needed to grab it for her granddaughter! The second was a young girl who was buying a variety of plushies as gifts for her friends <3
This event was a great conclusion to my first year selling in person as markets. I ended feeling pride in my work and with a boost of confidence for the coming year!
